NUMBER 1.

RobertÂ’s Rules of order shall be used as a guideline to proceedings of this club unless otherwise provided in these bylaws.

1. Roll call. 2. Reading of Minutes of previous meeting. 3. Report of Officers. 4. Unfinished Business. 5. New Business.



NUMBER 2.

Application for membership will be on a open basis to all interested persons. Then, upon payment of dues becomes a member entitled to all privileges of the club.



NUMBER 3.

The club dues shall normally be $20.00 annually per individual or family membership. A family membership consists of the member, the members spouse, and all immediate family members under 18 years of age.
For purposes of promotion of the club, the amount of dues may be modified or waived for a predetermined period of time at the discretion of the Membership Director upon approval by a two thirds majority vote of the Executive Board.
All dues shall be billed yearly based on the month in which the member signs up. For the purposes of billing, if the member signs up before the 15th of the month then the membership shall begin at the first of that month, if the member signs up after the 15th of the month the membership shall begin at the 1st of the next month. The Membership Director shall provide each member notice that his membership is due to expire approximately 30 days before the first day of each members annual billing month. If a member fails to pay his annual dues within 30 days after first day his annual billing month he shall be considered no longer a member in good standing and shall not be entitled to vote at club meetings or receive any other benefits reserved for club members until said dues is brought current. Previous members who elect to pay their dues more than 90 days after the first day of their annual billing month shall be considered new members for all practical purposes including club seniority.



All dues shall be billed on or before June 1st and due on July 1st of each year for all members. New members dues shall be prorated to July 1st where the initial month will be considered a whole month if the member joins before the 15th of the month and not considered if the new membership occurs after the 15th of the month. The proration shall be computed at a rate of $1.00 per month for a single membership.



If a member fails to pay their annual dues by July 1st a second notice will be sent on or before August 1st. If payment isn't received by September 1st notice will be sent to the member during the 1st week of September that the membership in question shall be terminated as of October 1st of that year. No further notices shall occur regarding dues. Any member behind with their dues shall be considered not in good standing and shall not be entitled to vote at club meetings.

NUMBER 4.

All bills must be checked and approved by the Vice President - Finance before they are paid. All checks should be signed by both the Vice President - Finance and an additional club officer.



NUMBER 5.

A member may be expelled for conduct unbecoming a member of the club. But charges must first be made in writing and the accused member given a hearing before the Executive Board. The Executive Board shall take evidence and report its findings to the club with the recommendation that the charges be considered proven and the accused member be expelled, or the charges be considered not proven and the accused member remain a member of the club. The club shall thereupon take a vote to decide whether or not the recommendation of the Executive Board shall be adopted. It shall require a two-thirds vote of the active members present and they are entitled to vote to veto the recommendation of the Executive Board.



NUMBER 6.

All active members of the club are encouraged to be a member of the AMA and the NMA.
